Wet Deposition - acidic rain, fog, or snow that falls to the Earth's surface.

If the pollutants in the atmosphere move to a region with lots of moisture in the air, the pollutants react with water vapors and cloud forms. The pollutants react with water vapor molecules and become rain droplets, that fall to the surface.

Dry Deposition - pollutants fall to the ground as dust or smoke particles

In regions with dry climate and little moisture in the air, the pollutants fall to the ground as dust or smoke particles. They stick to cars, buildings, homes, etc. and get washed away by rain.
